A single tooth dental implant in Leicester costs £3,000–£3,300 at Hallcross Dental, including the titanium implant, abutment and crown. The process typically takes a few months from placement to final crown, and replaces one missing tooth without affecting the healthy teeth either side of it.
Who is a single implant right for?
A single implant is the right option when you’ve lost or need to remove one tooth and the surrounding teeth are healthy. Unlike a bridge, it doesn’t require grinding down neighbouring teeth to anchor a false one — the implant stands independently, supported by its own titanium root in the jawbone.
The process, step by step
Treatment begins with a consultation and CT scan to assess bone density and plan the exact position of the implant. The titanium implant is then placed under local anaesthetic, followed by a healing period during which it integrates with the jawbone. Once integrated, an abutment and a custom-matched crown are fitted to complete the tooth.
How long does it take?
Most single-implant cases take a few months in total, allowing time for proper integration with the bone — this is what gives the implant its long-term strength. Some straightforward cases may be suitable for a faster approach; this is assessed individually at consultation.
What’s included in the price
Our £3,000–£3,300 price includes the implant, abutment, crown, and any minor bone grafting used during surgery to optimise the result — we never charge more than quoted. If a more significant graft is needed beforehand, this is identified and quoted separately at your CT scan appointment.
